For Clients

Book a session with a SignalEHR therapist

SignalEHR is the practice-management platform many therapists use behind the scenes. Booking happens through your therapist's own practice website or Amelia chat — not directly through this site. Here's how to find them.

Live demo clinics

Each demo clinic is fully interactive — real practitioners, real specialties, real booking UX. Nothing is charged or sent. Pick one to see exactly what booking on a SignalEHR practice site feels like.

Voice + text Amelia

Text-chat Amelia

Serenity Wellness Center

Los Angeles, CA · USA · 13 practitioners

US clinic with text-chat Amelia embedded on the site. Try asking “Do you take Aetna?” or “Who specializes in trauma?” then book a session through Amelia or directly via a practitioner card. Specialties include CBT, ACT, IFS, and somatic therapy.

FAQ

Common questions

Why can't I book directly on signalehr.com?

+

SignalEHR is the EHR your therapist uses — we don't run a marketplace. Every booking happens directly with the individual practice (so you have one therapeutic relationship, one billing relationship, and clear records). The directory at /directory shows therapists who use us and links to their booking flows.

How do I know if my therapist uses SignalEHR?

+

Look at your therapist's website. If you see a chat bubble named Amelia, an embedded booking widget that says 'powered by SignalEHR', or appointment-reminder emails from auth@signalehr.com or auth@therapreneur.app — they're on SignalEHR. You can also just ask them directly.

What's Amelia? Will an AI be in my therapy session?

+

No — Amelia is the receptionist, not the therapist. She handles scheduling, intake forms, insurance questions, billing, and reminders. The actual therapy session is between you and your human licensed therapist. SignalEHR's AI may assist with documentation (your therapist reviews and signs every note), but it does not replace clinical judgment or participate in the conversation.

Is my data safe? Where does it go?

+

SignalEHR is HIPAA compliant in the US and PIPEDA compliant in Canada. Session audio is never retained — only transcripts and embeddings, with your explicit consent. Encryption is AES-256 in transit and at rest. See signalehr.com/security for the full posture.

I'm a US client of a Canadian therapist (or vice versa) — does that work?

+

Yes. SignalEHR is built cross-border. Your therapist can bill US insurance via Stedi or Canadian insurance via TELUS eClaims — without you having to coordinate paperwork. Telehealth is HIPAA + PIPEDA compliant on both sides of the border.
